You won’t be the best in the world

Well, not for everyone.

You can be your best version of yourself —and do the best you can, while trying to be better than the day before.

Being the best is something subjective and arbitrary, when applied to life or business, as they’re infinite games and have no set up rules.

Who’s to define who the best is?

Here’s the thing

“Great work” is not what makes the difference.

Your clients can’t really tell what’s great work and really good work. They don’t know the nuances. They’re not trained to see them.

Your peers might. But you’re not here to do a competition with your peers. You’re here to help your clients get what they want.

This is not saying “Go do mediocre work” and deliver crap. Or don’t deliver anything until it’s without mistakes, till it’s perfect.

It’s to tell you go do your best, ship, aim for excellence, put everything that you have, be ethical and create that transformation your clients strive for.

Go, innovate.

Innovation is to put yourself out there, risk wisely and try new (or old) things in new ways. To put your perspective in.

You can be guaranteed of something: you won’t be the best. Not for everyone.

But you’ll be your best, at your natural best. And that makes the difference.

That’s the ONE thing your clients will know (and see).
